Sam Fishkin

A four time nominee and winner of three midwest regional Emmy awards, Sam Fishkin started out in radio but soon discovered that recording music rather than just spinning albums was much more fun.  That led to work recording full orchestras for award winning Cheer, Hallmark, McDonalds, and American Airlines campaigns while Chief engineer at Steve Ford Music.

On the post audio side of things, recent work includes sound design and mixing for McDonald’s, Master Lock, True Value, Hoosier Lottery.

Feature film work includes the critically acclaimed Punch 9 for Harold Washington by Joe Winston, Eastland: Chicago’s Deadliest Day, Head Games directed by Oscar nominee Steve James, and Allegory of the Cave by director Sandro Miller and starring John Malkovich.

A New Jersey native, Sam graduated from Northwestern University with a major in Radio, TV & Film. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, EARS (Chicago), National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Society of Composers and Lyricists, and is past-president of the board of The Actors Gymnasium Circus Theater.
