Robert Curreri
Born and raised in New York, Robert Curreri moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to begin his career as a colorist. He immediately hooked with top post houses Riot Santa Monica and The Syndicate, working on some of the most iconic music videos from the early to mid 2000s for bands like Weezer, Blink-182, All American Rejects, Postal Service, Jurassic 5 and My Chemical Romance, the latter two which won him MVPA awards for Best Colorist.
While at The Syndicate, Robert broke into TV commercials, coloring spots for Nike, Target, Reebok, Bud Light, Sprint, Guess, and Lucky Brand to name a few. In the late 2000s Robert began working more in long form. Some of his highlights include working with Peter Bogdonovich on the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers documentary “Running Down a Dream” and Sundance winner “We Live in Public” for Ondi Timoner. He also worked with Dave Grohl on his HBO Docuseries “Sonic Highways” while at Therapy Studios. Meanwhile, he kept coloring music videos for the likes of Lady Gaga, Little Wayne, Rick Ross, Machine Gun Kelly, and Nicki Minaj.
Recent branded content projects include a pair of videos for Sony Alpha, Titleist, Wonderful Company and Pep Boys as well as spots for Bud Light, UPS, and Farmer John’s. Recent long form projects include the hit Netflix documentary “The Alpinist” indie fave “El Planeta” plus two yet to be released documentaries for Ondi Timoner, “The Inn Between” and “All God’s Children”.
